This allows small self-service stores, for example in the form of a refrigerator or a shelf, to be opened in the company. Employees use QR codes to authorize themselves to use the store. The lunch app then lists the range of goods. These can be easily added to the shopping cart by scanning the EAN code. Products without an EAN code (e.g. fruit) can be selected from the assortment list.
Payment is also made as usual using the payment methods stored in the lunch app.
The option of self-checkout using Scan2Go can be applied directly in the company restaurant: In view of staff shortages, regular checkout positions can be replaced or new ones created at the same time. Since each customer pays for his goods himself with his smartphone, peak times are equalized.

Scan2Go makes it possible to establish small catering islands outside the canteen: These can be shelves or cabinets in tea kitchens or break rooms, for example. Employees can quickly snack on small snacks, drinks or fresh fruit in between meals.

The problem is that if you buy the food during the lunch break, you can't keep it refrigerated until the end of the day. On the other hand, those who only want to buy at the end of the working day are usually faced with closed canteens. The solution: Scan2Go in combination with a refrigerator. This can be installed at busy locations, for example. Employees can then easily take their meals home for the evening meal.

The "Scan2Go" module extension expands the possibilities in modern company catering. Self-checkout via smartphone significantly simplifies payment processes for customers.
